At the confluence of the waters of Despati tributary and the torrent of Melissomandra (Malousta) lies the chapel of St. Raphael. A wonderful recreation area in the village of Potamoi, where visitors have the opportunity to sit on benches under the huge plane trees and enjoy the combination of both the forest and the aquatic dense flora and fauna. There is also a well-organized barbecue area. Various events are organized in the area from time to time. A little further there is the Cave of Potamoi or the Cave of Despati, which, however, is not open to the public.
