The "Custom of Wedding and Bears" takes place in Volakas on January 8. It is a satirical representation of a local wedding, which starts in the morning and ends in the afternoon, with a feast with local music.

On the day of the "Wedding", the "Bears", groups of disguised people dressed in animal skin, also come out. In each group there is the "bear-handler", who urges the "Bears" to dance to the sound of the tambourine.
