In the village of Vathytopos lies the church of Agios Nikolaos, built in the mid-19^th  century. Only the interior decoration has remained intact, while the wood-carved iconostasis with icons dating back from 1813 to 1869 was preserved until 2005, when unfortunately the church was completely destroyed. In the church there is a replica of the miraculous icon of Panagia Faneromeni from Zichni, celebrated on August 9.
